I've now written to Franklin Graham (President of Samaritan's Purse) asking to tour on the Operation Christmas Child through Cambodia.At first I thought these shoebox distributions happened in November, but I'm learning that Cambodia has its distribution in Jan and early Feb. Also there are three of them and they are for 9 or 10 days each.
I was first moved to this project when I saw an Operation Christmas Child DVD in Sept 2006. It was sent by my mother Judith Anne Tahir who is involved with Samaritan's Purse in Tasmania.
The reactions of the children receiving simple gifts in a wrapped shoebox were truly amazing.
